Introduction

Researches and surveys across the globe have revealed that the world is facing a death toll of almost 55 million per year. Although the numbers are made up by accidents, natural deaths due to old age and even natural disasters, but the real concern is the death toll due to simple health problems caused by absurd activities. Mortality and natural disasters and even accidents are something that can be categorized as unforeseen circumstances but when you talk about diseases, you can’t help but point the finger at yourself. Most diseases that affect the body are mostly because of the body not getting sufficient care. This doesn’t naturally imply that there’s a guarantee for the body to stay healthy throughout but relatively fewer diseases and illnesses are found in those who have taken care of themselves.

Dietary Problems:

Not knowing what to eat and not knowing whether what you are eating is healthy or not and not knowing how much to eat something are all problems that are serious in their respective nature. Most people don’t know that the common stomach aches and headaches require some specific changes in the diet. Similarly, not being able to analyze your diet according to your body’s nutritional needs is also a challenge faced by most people who don’t consult a dietician. Pregnant women can relate to such problems as they know that some people don’t realize that their miscarriage was due to malnutrition. Coming over to the problem of not knowing how much to eat,we can observe the obesity levels and numbers across the world to get a grip on the gravity of the situation. Eating junk food has become such a common tradition that most people are starting to rely solely on fast food to be the only meal throughout the day.

People do not realize this until it is too late that serious drastic circumstances and diseases can arise if we are not too careful with our bodies. It doesn’t take much to ruin a perfectly healthy body and an irregular diet can cause diseases that can stop the heart and cause immense pain.

Dependency on Drugs, Alcohol and Digital Devices:

Addiction, simply stated, can mean relying on anything to get you through the day. These days, drugs like cocaine, nicotine, tobacco, and even tea are common and are causing a lot of diseases. Similarly, alcohol abuse and medically prescribed drugs are being abused by not just teens and adults but even by seniors that result in developing disorders and symptoms of serious health-related problems.

Digital detoxing is also a necessity since we are all desperately relying on our smart devices and gadgets to get us through the day. Few people are left without a smartphone or device and among the massive population that does possess one, the knowledge of the threats and issues that linger is absent. Most people would spend a day on the internet trying to learn about WhatsApp spy apps but not spend enough time to figure out the problems developing inside their bodies that can save them excruciating pains and problems in the not-so-distant future.

Conclusion:

2018 is filled with examples to show for all those who wish to learn about the mistakes humanity has made and precedents to look out for. Let’s focus on making our lives better by focusing on our health.
