Hangover pills are basically just medicine for people who are suffering from hangovers. These pills will contain antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, vitamins, and other ingredients that combat hangover symptoms. They basically replenish the body of the vitamins lost during a night of booze.

Different pills will have different ingredients and therefore different effects. The most common ingredients in these pills include:

  • Vitamin B. During a night of heavy drinking, your vitamin B levels are depleted. For this reason, replenishing your body with vitamin B complex (including vitamin B1, B2, B6, and B12) is an effective way to get rid of a hangover. Vitamin B12, in particular, is important as it deals with brain function.
  • Vitamins C, D, and E. The constant urination caused by alcohol consumption depletes your vitamin C, D, and E levels. Both vitamin C and E are crucial for keeping your immune system strong. Vitamin D can affect your mood and overall happiness. These essential vitamins need to be replenished ASAP to resume normal body function.
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid. This antioxidant reduces inflammation throughout the body – something that alcohol consumption triggers.
  • Taurine. Taurine is another antioxidant that boosts your energy and combats fatigue. It’s also effective in reducing blood toxicity levels.

Hangover IV Treatments
