A publication made by the New York Times in November 2019 shows that dopamine fasting is gaining popularity among millennials. It involves keeping the dopamine receptors in the brain inactive for long, to feel pleasure after avoiding everyday experiences. Researchers observed two millennials who are tech investors at Silicon Valley. They avoided the frequent stimulation of busy schedules.

Dopamine fasting is an efficient type of digital fasts that is appropriate for people who live hectic lives such as those who are overwhelmed with emails, notifications, and texts. A digital fast entails avoiding devices that you connect to the internet, according to Psychology Today. It significantly minimizes technology-related burnout and anxiety.

CBD

CBD has caught the attention of many people in recent years. It is a non-psychoactive compound that is derived from hemp. CBD has many health benefits. Some people add it to snacks and drinks. Besides, there are CBD-infused oils, lotions, tinctures, and salts. It relieves severe anxiety and physical pain. A study done by Harvard Medical School found that CBD is useful in treating child epilepsy.

Millennials are keen on their health due to an increase in the number of lifestyle-related diseases in recent years. Some of them avoid fatty and sugary foods. Instead, they prefer organic and whole meals with high nutrient content.
